While we have not had any ILC students or staff diagnosed with COVID-19 (coronavirus) at our facility, Indy Language Center prioritizes the safety of our students and staff. Therefore, we have made the difficult decision of pausing all in-person classes indefinitely. We have come to this decision based on what we currently know about COVID-19: that waiting until someone is officially diagnosed means we would already be too late in preventing infection to others.
But GOOD NEWS!
Based on the current situation, the school has made the decision to begin holding classes remotely, and we have asked all instructors, including yours, to organize a great distance learning option with you and your classmates, if you are in a group, or one-on-one, if you are a private student. For now, this will be done through a group video chat on Skype. Your instructor will send you a link soon to join this Skype group chat through your WhatsApp group.
Your enrollment status will not be affected and these days missed will not count against your available class time hours. ILC students will continue into the next course as scheduled once classes meet again.
We appreciate your understanding and patience with us during this time.
Your ILC Team,
Giancarlo Di Mizio, Jr. & Jonica Cantu
