Dear Students,
While we have not had any ILC students or staff diagnosed with COVID-19 (coronavirus) at our facility, Indy Language Center prioritizes the safety of our students and staff. Previously, we had paused in-person classes indefinitely. Based on state and local guidelines, we have phased in-person classes slowly, contingent on proper social distancing measures, mask wearing and temperature checks.
We have come to this decision based on what we currently know about COVID-19: that waiting until someone is officially diagnosed means we would already be too late in preventing infection to others. With this information, we have made sure to space out the scheduling of our classes so that there are not too many classes meeting at the same time.
But Good News!
Our online classes are more popular than ever! With technology having been improved dramatically in the past year, our online programs feel just like a classroom. You can progress through each language level in the comfort of your home. Email us or give us a call to talk about our online courses and how you'll improve your speaking AND stay safe during these times.
Keep studying! Use any time outside of class for self-study. We recommend journaling, listening to podcasts, watching Netflix, and using apps like Memrise, Duolingo, and Drops.
We appreciate your understanding and patience with us during this time.
Your ILC Team,
Giancarlo Di Mizio, Jr. & Jonica Cantu
