Specialty English Classes

Requirements for these classes: students to be able to speak English at an intermediate level of fluency or higher. If your English skills need a boost to reach this level, we recommend our General English Language classes.

Available as in-person private lessons for individuals or corporate level classes for groups. Contact us to discuss your goals.


Accent Reduction
  • Aim to be understood, not to remove all traces of your native accent, by improving clarity so the speaker can be better understood in any setting you need to efficiently communicate and can express more effectively. 

  • Learn to directly train the vocal muscles through a variety of speech exercises focusing on specific consonants, vowels, stress patterns and/or intonation

  • Students from any background or profession can benefit from accent reduction classes. 


Business English
  • Designed for professionals in the corporate environment. 

  • Syllabus includes English letter writing, presentation skills, and negotiating techniques as well as vocabulary typically used in the business world.

  • Students will focus on (international) trade, the financial market and commercial enterprise. 


TOEFL®  (Test of English as a Foreign Language) 

The test is given via computer at a designated testing center. It takes about three hours to complete. Each section receives a score of 0 to 30, giving the possibility of a total score from 0 to 120 for the entire test. 

  • 16 two-hour classes designed to teach non-native English speakers to use and understand English.

  • Test is widely used for admissions by colleges and universities in North America. Also accepted by professional organizations and government agencies as proof of language ability. Score requirements are set by individual organizations. 

  • Course consists of 4 sections (Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing).

Test prep classes are focused on the testing experience and strategies to help you score higher on each section of the test.
