Giancarlo Di Mizio
Education Director
Giancarlo Di Mizio Jr. is a native Italian and fluent Spanish speaker who grew up in the heart of Rome, but his family has put down roots in Indiana. In addition to over a decade of language teaching experience, his diverse professional experiences from majoring in psychology and biology at Purdue and serving as regional manager for a family restaurant make him uniquely suited to his role.
As the Education Director for Indy Language Center, he is responsible for daily managements of our Carmel, IN location as well as setting the mission and general policies of the school. He thinks the best thing about his role is creating community and bringing people together speaking each other's languages and experiencing each other's cultures.

Ariel Relf
Executive Assistant
Ariel is a purpose-driven professional and community advocate who believes in the power of storytelling to connect people, inspire action, and create lasting change. Her work and volunteer efforts focus on bringing individuals together across cultures, backgrounds, and lived experiences, fostering spaces where collaboration and authenticity can thrive. She also has a deep love for food and traveling, which further fuels her appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives.
Ariel takes care of our school administration: day-to-day scheduling, billing and general operations.

Catalina Espinel Vargas
Student Coordinator
A bilingual Spanish-English professional and native of Ecuador, Catalina Espinel V. Macke settled in Indianapolis after an extensive career in administrative management, strategic planning, and market research. With a multicultural background that includes professional experience in Ecuador and England, Catalina has led teams and developed growth strategies for various organizations in multiple sectors.
As a student coordinator, Catalina has coordinated admissions and supported teams in her home country. She believes that through education - and especially by learning different languages - individuals can connect and build bridges across cultures.
We are happy to have Catalina as our Student Coordinator to welcome and guide our students as their first point of contact.

Saskia Graddy
Consultant
A native of The Netherlands, Saskia permanently settled in the USA about 20 years ago. She worked for a Fortune-500 company, managing customer support, warranty administration and channel development activities for the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Saskia’s language skills are of great benefit in the execution of her work.
Besides English and Dutch, she speaks German, French and some Spanish. Saskia is passionate about linguistics and multi-cultural cooperation. She was our School Administrator for a long time supporting our language teachers. While pursuing new adventures starting 2026, Saskia is still supporting our team in many ways!

Kelly Hocker
CEO/Managing Partner
A managing partner and co-founder of the company, Kelly earned degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University and Indiana University. Kelly devotes his time primarily to overseeing the daily operations of Indy Translations, but is also active in the company’s financial operations and marketing initiatives.
Kelly brings with him a diverse background in business, including marketing, project management and accounting which assures that the company runs smoothly and customers receive the highest degree of service.

Bill Zart
Director of New Business & Translations/Managing Partner
Bill is a linguist and translator who received his B.A. in Russian, Spanish and French and his M.A. in Russian and Spanish linguistics from Purdue University. He also studied at the Pushkin Institute in Moscow. Earlier on in his career, he taught Russian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, American Sign Language and English as a Second Language, working at Purdue University, Marian College, LTC, ELS, Ivy Tech, IUPUI and IUPUC.
Bill is the co-founder of Indy Translations. He is a member of the American Translators Association, the Midwest Association of Translators and Interpreters, and the American Council of Teachers of Russian.

Jonathon Henley
Project Manager/Florida Office Manager
Jonathon joined our team in August 2006 as a full-time project manager. He is from Indianapolis and a graduate of IU Bloomington, earned a Bachelor's Degree in German and International Studies. Prior to graduating IU, Jonathon studied an academic year abroad from 2004-2005 at the University of Freiburg, Germany.
In the summer of 2004, he also interned with Indy Translations, assisting with translations and the teaching of an immersion class, developing marketing and promotion skills, and using extensive research with database building for client referrals at our offices in Indianapolis and North Palm Beach. Since May 2014, he is heading our Florida operations.
