Meet Tina - Mandarin

Ms. Tina Tian has been teaching Mandarin classes for four years at the Indy Language Center. She was born in China and came to the US after graduated from college. For 25 years in the States, Tina received her master’s degree in global management and worked in different industries.

After having started a nonprofit organization to produce Chinese-American community TV program in San Diego, working in a communication firm in China before 2008 Olympic, teaching and facilitating at Take Me There- China gallery in The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Tina has found her true passion in teaching. Thus, her lessons are designed around the idea of immersive experience, in addition to learning daily conversations. Tina is grateful for students sharing her joy in learning Chinese.
