Meet Hungría!
Hungría Maldonado-Essig was born in Venezuela, graduated as an industrial engineer, and at age 37 immigrated to the United States with her three children. After more than 30 years of working in positions related to engineering and part-time language teaching, she decided to focus as a freelancer using her bilingual (Spanish-English) training in the fields of education, interpretation, and translation.
She has lived in Indiana since 1996 with her children and now three grandchildren, the in-laws, and additional family members. She had gained invaluable experience as Manager of Quality Control and Standardization at the Electric Company of Venezuela. Her work included training groups and individuals in the latest services. This experience helped her recognize and seek opportunities in the field of education.
