Giancarlo Di Mizio
Director of Education
Giancarlo Di Mizio is a native Italian speaker and fluent in Spanish. Originally from the heart of Rome, Italy, he and his family have since established their home in Indiana. With more than a decade of language teaching experience, combined with a background in psychology and biology from Purdue University and leadership experience as a regional manager for his family's restaurant business, Giancarlo brings a unique blend of educational, managerial, and cultural expertise to Indy Language Center.
As the Director of Education at Indy Language Center, Giancarlo oversees the daily operations of the Carmel, Indiana location while helping shape the school's vision, educational standards, and strategic direction. He is passionate about fostering a welcoming community where people can connect through language, build meaningful relationships, and gain a deeper appreciation for cultures from around the world.

Ariel Relf
Executive Assistant
Ariel Relf is a purpose-driven professional and community advocate who is passionate about building meaningful connections through communication, collaboration, and cultural exchange. She believes in the power of bringing people together from diverse backgrounds and creating welcoming environments where everyone feels valued. Her love of travel and exploring different cuisines has deepened her appreciation for cultures around the world and inspires her work every day.
As the Executive Assistant/School Administrator at Indy Language Center, Ariel oversees the school's day-to-day administrative operations, including scheduling, student enrollment, billing, and office management. She plays a vital role in ensuring the center runs smoothly while providing exceptional support and service to both students and instructors.

Catalina Espinel Vargas
Student Coordinator
Catalina Espinel Vargas brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, and market research to Indy Language Center. After building a successful career in Ecuador and England, she made Indianapolis her home, bringing with her a global perspective and a passion for helping organizations grow. Throughout her career, she has led diverse teams and developed strategic initiatives across multiple industries.
As the Student Coordinator at Indy Language Center, Catalina supports student enrollment, admissions, and day-to-day student services, ensuring each learner has a positive and welcoming experience. She is passionate about education and believes that learning new languages creates meaningful connections, fosters cultural understanding, and builds bridges between people from all walks of life.

Kelly Hocker
CEO/Managing Partner
Kelly Hocker is the co-founder and managing partner of Indy Translations and Language Center and brings a strong foundation in business leadership, operations, and strategic planning. He holds degrees from both Indiana Wesleyan University and Indiana University and has built a career focused on driving organizational growth and operational excellence.
In his leadership role, Kelly oversees the organization's daily operations while guiding its financial strategy, business development, and marketing initiatives. His experience in marketing, project management, and accounting helps ensure the organization operates efficiently and continues to provide exceptional service and support to students, partners, and the community.

Bill Zart
Director of New Business & Translations/Managing Partner
Bill Zart is a linguist, educator, and translator with extensive experience in language instruction and cross-cultural communication. He earned his bachelor's degree in Russian, Spanish, and French, along with a master's degree in Russian and Spanish linguistics, from Purdue University. He also completed advanced language studies at the Pushkin Institute in Moscow, further strengthening his expertise in linguistics and language education.
As the co-founder of Indy Translations and Indy Language Center, Bill has played a key role in advancing language education and professional language services throughout Central Indiana. He is an active member of the American Translators Association (ATA), the Midwest Association of Translators and Interpreters (MATI), and the American Council of Teachers of Russian (ACTR), reflecting his ongoing commitment to excellence in the language profession.
Throughout his career, Bill has taught Russian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, American Sign Language (ASL), and English as a Second Language (ESL) at several respected institutions!

Jonathon Henley
Project Manager/Florida Office Manager
Jonathon Henley has been an integral part of the Indy Translations team since joining as a full-time Project Manager in August 2006. A native of Indianapolis, he earned his bachelor's degree in German and International Studies from Indiana University Bloomington. During his undergraduate studies, he spent the 2004–2005 academic year abroad at the University of Freiburg in Germany, gaining valuable international and cross-cultural experience.
Before joining the company full-time, Jonathon completed an internship with Indy Translations, where he assisted with translation projects, supported language immersion classes, contributed to marketing initiatives, and conducted research to expand the company's client database. His internship provided a strong foundation in language services, client relations, and business development. Jonathon leads the organization's Florida operations, overseeing regional growth, client services, and project management while continuing to support the company's commitment to delivering exceptional language solutions.
