New to Spanish? This is your starting point. In this course, you'll build real conversational skills from day one — learning to introduce yourself, navigate everyday situations, and start thinking in Spanish rather than translating from English. Each session is designed around speaking and listening, not memorization drills. You'll leave every class having actually used the language, not just studied it. What you'll cover: Greetings, introductions, and personal information Numbers, dates, and telling time Basic questions and answers for everyday life Describing people, places, and things Shopping, ordering food, and getting around Present tense conversations across common topics Who it's for: True beginners with little to no prior Spanish experience. No grammar background required — just a willingness to speak up and make mistakes. - Tuition is to be paid in full in order to be registered for a class. - One-time Enrollment Fee $30 to set up Account. - Tuition and other fees are non-refundable (see ILC Terms&Conditions for possible exceptions) - Schedule is subject to change if final course enrollment does not meet the required number of students within 3 days from the expected start date. - There are no make-up classes. Teachers will share material covered and assigned homework with students who miss a class. - Holiday/Weather Policy: if all students ánd teacher agree to skip class because of a holiday or weather emergency, that class will be moved to the end of sessions thus extending the length of the course.
