Martin Myles is a native speaker of English with various experiences in English teaching over the past 13 years to students at all levels. He began work in education in 2007, and began teaching English in 2012. He has primarily taught adult students conversational and business English, both professionally in Tokyo, Japan, and freelance online. He has also worked with school aged students at all grade levels. His teaching style is engaging and conversation based, with a focus on maximizing students’ speaking time, and giving them space to form their own sentences. He enjoys helping students grow by creating as many speaking opportunities as possible using the vocabulary they already know and gradually increasing their known words and grammar over time.  

What Martin loves most about teaching is sharing culture through language. As a learner of Japanese, he realizes how much culture is learned just by learning the language. He tries his best to introduce students both to American culture and the English language through teaching.
