Meet So Young - Korean

So Young has been teaching Korean for over 11 years and loves helping students build confidence while connecting with the language. She has taught at Purdue University’s International Center, the Korean school hosted by the Korean Presbyterian Church (supported by the Korean Embassy), and through the English Club academy she founded to support learners of all ages.

As both an experienced instructor and a mom of two, So Young brings patience, flexibility, and encouragement to her teaching. Her lessons go beyond vocabulary and grammar to include Korean culture and real-life practice, making the language meaningful and engaging. Outside the classroom, she enjoys staying active and working out, which gives her the energy and balance to support both her family and her students.
